What is TOPSoccer?:
US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, who has a mental or physical disability. Our goal is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the US Youth Soccer family. 
What does it Entail?:
CSC's TOPSoccer program will entail fun training/game sessions each week!
Sundays 2-3 PM
Requirements:
All Athletes are required to be medically cleared to play from their PCP.
Players with Down Syndrome must have a recent Cervical Spine X-Ray per the National Down Syndrome Society and US Youth Soccer. Please contact the Director Michael at nmreferee94@gmail.com for more info.

About the Staff:
Program Director Michael Posen
Michael is a Nationally Licensed Soccer Coach and Director of Coaching who played highly competitive soccer until he was retired by injury and recovered through rehab here in NM at Carrie Tingley Hospital. After enlisting in the US Army Reserve and graduating College with a degree in Computer Science. Michael now works at CSC and for City Government. Also volunteer coaching  and serving as the Director of Cups and Games for NM Youth Soccer.

Athelete Director Danessa Castaneda-Posen :
Danessa is currently studying for her Master's Degree in Special Education from UNM and currently holds a Bachelor's Degree. Danessa spends her time volunteer coaching at CSC and working as a Special Education Teacher at Valle Vista Elementary School in Albuquerque and previously served as the Youth Academy Director here at CSC.
